Vintage 60s Nautical Boats Seascape Framed Oil Painting Mid Century Modern Wall Hanging Art
Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a nice vintage nautical / seascape oil painting on stretched canvas. Artist: L. Pierce (signed in the lower left-hand corner of the canvas). Circa '60s. The painting is framed in a nice vintage wooden frame, and there is a jagged metal hanging tab along the top of the back side of the frame for hanging.
Measurements: Including the wooden frame, approx. 26.5" wide x 22.25" tall. The canvas itself, excluding the frame and thin cloth-like material surround, measures approx. 20" wide x 15.75" tall.
Condition: Very good vintage condition - the painting itself is free from rips, holes, tears, stains, creases, repairs, etc. The wood frame shows light signs of wear that are commensurate with age and handling. The thin cloth border around the canvas shows some signs of light discoloration in spots - nothing terrible at all... solely being mentioned for accuracy (please see photos). All in all, it displays very well and is ready for a new home!
