Unique Large Heavy Vintage 1960s Ceramic Wood Art Pottery Table Lamp Mid Century Modern Lighting

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an amazing vintage art pottery table lamp. Circa '60s. The pottery portion of the base is teardrop-shaped, and it rests atop a round wooden base that is light in color. The pottery portion of the base has random inscribed lines throughout, and various colors as well. Depending on what angle the base is viewed at, it has a somewhat iridescent shine to the surface (see photos). This lamp is very SOLID and LARGE - weighs approx. 18.3 pounds. Definitely well-crafted, and not flimsy whatsoever. We could not find a signature anywhere on the lamp, so we are uncertain as to the maker / artist. The lamp does not come with a shade - that'll be left up to the winning purchaser to provide on their own.

Measurements: The lamp stands approx. 28" tall (measured from the bottom of the wooden base to the top of the light socket). The art pottery portion of the base alone measures approx. 22" tall x 13" wide x 11" deep. The round wooden portion of the lamp base at the bottom measures approx. 2.75" tall x 8.5" in diameter.

Condition: Excellent condition - no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, scratches, etc. The round wooden portion of the base shows a few very small superficial marks on it, but nothing that we'd consider objectionable - only mentioning it for accuracy. We have not attempted to clean or polish the lamp in any manner - it displays exceptionally well as it is, and has definitely been well preserved over the years by its previous owners. The electrical wiring and socket are free from having any problems - no frays, splits, exposed wires, etc. Before long-term use, we only strongly recommend having a licensed professional check the wiring for any problems. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition as it is.
