Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a unique and unusual abstract / figural sculpture by artist, Victor "Zak" Zaikine. Circa '70s. The sculpture looks like three abstract female figures fused together, and they are mounted onto a stone base at the bottom. We're not sure if the artist had a particular name for this piece, but we like to call it Three Sirens. Materials: Bronze, Stone. The bronze is colored over in a white textured paint (see photos). There is a small gold plaque attached to the stone base with the artist's signature, as well as the date '73 (again, see photos).
Measurements: Including the base, this sculpture measures approx. 26" tall x 19.25" wide x 10" deep. The base measures 8.25" wide x 10" deep x 4.25" tall (at its tallest point).
Condition: Structurally in very good condition - no breaks, cracks, repairs, etc. There are a few small areas where there is some white surface paint color loss, as well as a dark lineal line on the paint on the underside of one of the extensions (see photos). These areas can easily be touched up, if desired. We chose to leave it in the condition in which it was acquired. Displays well, and is ready for a new home. Being sold "as-is", and "as-described". If you have questions, please ask them prior to purchase and we'll be more than happy to respond back in a timely manner. Thanks for looking, and please be sure to check out our other listings presently active on eBay!
PLEASE NOTE: This piece is heavy and fragile. As such, we will double box it for shipping so that it makes it to its destination safely.
