Vintage 50s Two Tier Beige Fiberglass Lamp Shade Mid Century Modern Atomic Era

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a double tier fiberglass lamp shade. Circa '50s / '60s. Color: Beige. Unbranded.

Measurements: The shade is approx. 9.5" tall. The smaller, upper tier has a diameter of approx. 12", while the larger, lower tier has a diameter of approx. 17.5".

Condition: Cosmetically the shade is in very good condition - there are no rips, holes, tears, repairs, etc. to the fiberglass material. There are a few very small blemsih small spots on the fiberglass which should come clean with a washing. The lacing on the upper ring of both tiers looks like it was replaced at one point in time. It's more of a black color, while the lacing on the lower rings of each tier is more of a dark gold color. It doesn't affect anything as the shade is completely stable and it displays well. One thing worth mentioning also is that the shade has a bit of a faint smoke odor to it - we have not done anything by means of cleaning it, but it should come out with a gentle washing with detergent - we do not know if the previous owners were smokers, but we're going to assume they may have been.
