Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a cute pair of vintage ceramic table lamps. Circa '50s / '60s. Colors: Beige with gold accents. We are uncertain of the maker as neither of the lamps appear to be signed. Each lamp has protective felt adhered to the underside of the base (see photos). No shades present - those will be left up to the purchaser to provide on their own. They'll make a nice addition to any mid century modern interior.
Measurements: Each lamp stands approx. 27" tall (measured from then bottom of the base to the top of the finial) x 6.5" wide x 4.5" deep. The ceramic portion of the base alone measures 13.25" tall. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket on each is approx. 16.75" tall.
Condition: Both lamps are structurally in great shape - there are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. Each of the lamps exhibits some gold color loss in the accent coloration - one a little bit more than the other. One lamp also has what appears to be a darkened mark on the edge of the ceramic towards the top on the back side, as well as a few small dark spots towards the bottom edge (see photos). It looks like it is actually in the ceramic from when the lamps were made - we have not attempted to try to clean it to see if it comes off. Either way, both areas are very small and not visible from the front - we're solely mentioning them for accuracy. The electrical wiring looks to be original to both lamps - there are no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. Both lamps are in working order! We always recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the lamps prior to long-term use, just to be safe. Being sold "as-is" - if you have questions, we do encourage you to ask them before purchasing as all sales are final. Please bid with confidence.
