Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an amazing vintage studio pottery / stoneware table lamp. Uncertain of the maker / artist. Circa '60s / '70s. Colors: Blue, Brown. The lamp has a brass cap that rests on the top surface of the pottery portion of the base. This lamp is very heavy - feels solid. Features an on/off rotary knob switch located at the socket. No shade present - that'll be left up to the purchaser to provide on their own. This lamp will make a welcome addition to any modern interior setting!
Measurements: Approx. 32" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the finial), and approx. 22.5" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the light socket). The stoneware portion of the base measures approx. 16.75" tall x 7" wide x 7" deep. The round base at the bottom is approx. 8" in diameter.
Condition: The lamp is in very good condition for its age - there are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. to the stoneware. The brass cap at the top of the stoneware base shows some signs of tarnishing / discoloration - we have not attempted to clean / polish it in any manner. It should clean up fine - we just chose to leave it in the condition in which it was acquired. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. The electrical wiring looks to be original to the lamp, and it is in good shape - no frays, splits, exposed, broken or brittle wires. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed professional inspect the lamp prior to long-term use. This lamp is being sold in "as-is", "as-described" condition. If you have questions, please let us know and we'll be happy to answer them in a timely manner.
