Rare Vintage 1950s Abstract Figural Lamp Fiberglass Shade MCM Henry Moore Style

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage abstract figural table lamp with accompanying fiberglass shade. Circa '50s. Done in the style of Henry Moore, this lamp features an abstract reclining ceramic figure in yellow that is mounted to a rectangular-shaped black wooden base. The lamp comes with a fiberglass shade that is simply beige in color. We were unable to detect any signatures, stamps, or labels - we are uncertain as to who manufactured the lamp. It'll make a great addition to any modern interior setting!

Measurements: With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. 22" tall. The yellow abstract figure measures approx. 12" wide x 4.5" tall x 4" deep. The black rectangular wooden base measures approx. 12.5" wide x 6" deep x 1.25" tall. The fiberglass shade measures approx. 13.5" tall x 8" wide (measured across the top) x 5" deep (measured across the top). The bottom of the shade measures approx. 14.75" wide x 10.25" deep.

Condition: The lamp is in very good condition, but does have some minor correctable cosmetic issues. First off, and most importantly, the yellow figure is free from chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. It has a few tiny spots where there is a little color loss, but can easily be touched up. We didn't feel it affects anything, so we chose to leave it in the condition in which it was acquired. The black wooden rectangular base shows some minor paint loss, and there are a few dots on it where it looks like paint got on it (see photos). Again, very minor, but we're mentioning it for accuracy (please examine the accompanying photos). The fiberglass shade has a few broken holes where the lacing goes through, but it is not affecting anything - it appears to be structurally very stable. It's barely noticeable, but there (again, please see photos). The shade is free from burns and other imperfections - just light wear consistent with age - we have not attempted to clean it in any manner - what you see is what you get! The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the wiring prior to long-term use.
