Vintage 50s 60s Sculptural Abstract Wood Figural Woman Lamp Mid Century Modern Lighting Heifetz

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare vintage abstract female figural table lamp. Circa '50s / '60s. Maker: Heifetz. The wooden female figure rests atop a black biomorphic-shaped wooden base. Behind the figural is a zig-zag wire rod that runs from the top of the lamp down to the base (see photos). There is currently no shade present with the lamp - that'll be left up to the purchaser to provide on their own. Unsigned. The lamp is a definite statement piece that'll make a nice addition to any mid century modern home.

Measurements: The lamp stands approx. 37.5" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial). The wooden figure measures approx. 20.25" tall x 5.5" wide. The black wooden base measures approx. 3" tall x 8" wide x 7" deep.

Condition: Overall the lamp is in very good condition for its age. There are some minor cosmetic flaws that we'll mention here. First off, while a little difficult to see, the wooden figure shows some signs of what looks like faint moisture marks. This can be easily remedied with a little wood polish. We didn't find it that glaring, so we just decided to leave it as it was acquired (see photos). Other than that, the figure is in nice shape - no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, splits, etc. The black wooden base shows one small ding along the bottom edge towards the side (again, see photo). The socket appears to have been replaced, but the rest of the wiring appears to be original to the lamp. The wiring is free from frays, splits, exposed and/or brittle sections. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the wiring prior to long-term use.
