RESERVED FOR MICHELLE - Excellent Pair Vintage 50s Atomic Ceramic Lamps Fiberglass Shades Mid Century Modern

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an incredible set of vintage atomic lamps from the 50s. They come complete with their original triple-tier fiberglass shades, and metal atomic finials (see photos). The bases are a pink ceramic with raised with paint splatters throughout. There are gold metal atomic accents mid-way up the body on each lamp (again, see photos). Each lamp has two methods for turning them on/off. They both have a standard rotary knob switch that is located at the socket. Also, there is an on/off push button located on each base at the back side close to where the electric cords emerge. These lamps have been very well cared for by their previous owners, and they're now ready to make a splash in someone else's mid century modern home!!!

Measurements: With the shades attached, each lamp stands approx. 31.5" tall. The ceramic base portions of the lamps each measure approx. 15" tall. The brass metal bases each measure approx. 7.75" in diameter. The triple tier fiberglass shades each measure approx. 10" tall, with the upper-most tier being approx. 15" in diameter, the middle tier being approx. 19" in diameter, and the lower-most tier being approx. 12" in diameter. The atomic finials each measure approx. 4.5" tall.

Condition: Both lamps are in excellent, immaculate condition - there are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, scratches, etc. The fiberglass shades are also in great shape - no rips, holes, tears, burn marks, repairs, etc. The lacing looks to be original to the shades, and it is intact on both. The electrical wiring looks to be original, is in in good condition on both lamps - there are no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires, etc. The previous owners took really great care of this set! As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having the wiring checked by a licensed professional prior to long-term use.
