Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a framed vintage scherenschnitte art wall hanging. The work was done by Brother Martin de Porres Cuypers. Circa '80s. Along the bottom edge of the paper, it is numbered (3/8), dated Winter 1980, titled "Disco Dreams", and is signed by the artist in pencil (see photos). The frame is constructed of metal (chrome), and is silver in color. The paper cuts outs are green. There is a small jagged metal hanging tab on the back side of the frame, located top center.
Measurements: Including the chrome frame, approx. 12.25" tall x 12.25" wide. The visible artwork itself, excluding the frame and matting, measures approx. 8.25" tall x 8.25" wide.
Condition: Good vintage condition. There is what appears to be a thin faint moisture band along the top right just at the edge of the green matting (see photo). It is barely visible, especially when hanging on a wall, but we wanted to point it out for accuracy. We have not attempted to remove the artwork from the frame to investigate it any further. Being sold "as-is", so if you have questions, please don't hesitate to ask them prior to bidding.
