Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an amazing vintage sculptural / biomorphic / abstract table lamp manufactured by Heifetz. Circa '50s / '60s. Materials: Metal, Wood. It has a standard on/off rotary knob switch that is located at the socket. The lamp is signed by the bottom of the rear side of the base (see photos). No shade present - that'll be left up to the purchaser to provide on their own.
Measurements: The lamp stands approx. 33.5" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial). It is approx. 23.5" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the socket). The sculptural component alone measures approx. 16.75" tall x 10.5" wide x 6" deep. The five-sided wooden base at the bottom measures approx. 1.75" tall x 10.25" wide x 6.5" deep. The wooden finial measures approx. 6" tall.
Condition: The lamp is in very good condition - there are no chips, cracks, breaks, bends, dings, scratches, repairs, etc. The metal components are free from rust and oxidation. We have not attempted to clean or polish the lamp in any manner as we feel it presents itself very well in the condition in which we acquired. it. The electrical wiring looks to be original to the lamp, and it is in decent condition - there is a small amount of black electrical tape on the wiring towards the plug (see photo) - we'd probably update the plug, just to be safe. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the wiring prior to long-term use. The lamp is being sold "as-is" - if you have questions, we do encourage you to ask them before purchasing, and we will respond back to you in a timely manner. All sales are final. Please bid with confidence.
PLEASE NOTE: The harp will be carefully removed in order to cut down on the size of the box needed to ship, which will cut down on the cost of shipping.
