Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a unique vintage mixed media abstract art wall hanging by illustrator, Marion Hodges, Jr. Circa '60s. Theme: The Birth of Printing. Materials: Metal, Wood, Paint, Paper. This piece is framed within a simple black painted wooden border frame. The artists initials "MH" and the date (1965) appear on the artwork (see photo), and there is a card that is taped to the reverse side of the frame. It'll make a great addition to any modern interior setting.
Measurements: Including the wooden frame, approx. 39" tall x 19" wide.
Condition: Good vintage condition. Shows minor traces of wear that are consistent with age and handling, but nothing overly alarming (please zoom in on the accompanying photos). It could probably benefit from a gentle cleaning, but we'll leave that up to the purchaser to handle. The wood frame shows some signs of general light wear (ie. mild color loss, a few scratches) that are consistent with age and handling. Overall, it displays very well and is ready for a new home! Balance due will be spread out over installment payments, one being due two weeks after the initial down-payment, and the final payment (which will include the listed shipping expenses) will be due two weeks after that.
