Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an amazing vintage ceramic table lamp complete with its original nubby textile shade. Circa '60s. The base is red with black paint drips throughout (see photos). The shade is original to the lamp, and it is a nubby textured textile material (again, see photos). We are uncertain as to the maker - no labels or tags present. It'll make a wonderful addition to any modern interior setting!
Measurements: With the shade attached, the lamp stands an impressive 46.25" tall - it's very large! The ceramic base alone measures 22" tall x 9" wide x 9" deep. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 27" high. The shade alone measures approx. 22" tall x 16" in diameter (top) x 18.25" diameter (bottom). The round black base at the bottom of the lamp is approx. 7" in diameter.
Condition: Both the lamp base and shade are in excellent condition. The base is free from having any issues - no chips, cracks, breaks, scratches, repairs, etc. The shade is free from having any issues as well. The electrical wiring is in very good shape - it's free from frays, splits, exposed / brittle wires. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition. As with all vintage lighting, the lamp should be inspected by a licensed electrician prior to long-term use. Being sold "as-is" - if you have questions, we do encourage you to ask them before purchasing as all sales are final. Please bid with confidence.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the size and delicate nature of the lamp, it will ship in two boxes - one will contain the base (with the harp removed), and the other will contain the shade. If you do not wish to have the shade, it will cut down on the cost of shipping - just let us know before paying and we''ll adjust the invoice accordingly - thank you.
