Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a nice vintage stacked glass ball lamp on a round chrome base. Circa '60s. We are not 100% certain on the maker - possibly Kovacs, but seems a little different in construction. The glass balls are black, and they appear to be glass, not ceramic. The lamp still retains an original UL sticker by the socket, but it was of no help in doing a google search in trying to ID the lamp. There is no shade present - that'll be left up to the purchaser to provide on their own. It'll make a nice addition to any modern or Hollywood Regency interior setting!
Measurements: The lamp stands approx. 24.5" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the light socket) x 6.5" wide x 6.5" deep.
Condition: Overall, the lamp is in very good condition. There are a few very small superficial scratch marks on the bottom ball. There are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The round chrome base is free from dents and dings. It has a few small blemishes, but nothing that we'd deem objectionable, and they're solely being mentioned for accuracy. The electrical wiring looks to be original to the lamp, and is in good shape - there are no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use. Being sold "as-is", so if you have questions, we do encourage you to ask them before purchasing as all sales are final.
