Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a nice vintage ceramic pottery table lamp. Circa '60s. The base is constructed of textured ceramic and wood (see photos). Between the ceramic portion of the base and the light socket is a teak wooden stem that connects the two. Colors: Beige, Wood Tones. No shade present - that'll be left up to the purchaser to provide on their own. We are uncertain as to who the maker may be - we did not detect any signatures or tags - maybe there is something indicating such under the protective felt on the bottom of the base - we didn't attempt to remove it. It's a great lamp, and will look nice in any modern setting!
Measurements: The lamp stands approx. 27.5" tall (from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial) x 8" wide x 8" deep. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 20" high. The ceramic portion of the base measures approx. 6" tall x 8" x 8". The wooden neck between the socket and the top of the ceramic portion of the base measures approx. 8.5" tall. The bottom of the base at the very bottom measures approx. 7" in diameter.
Condition: Overall, the lamp is in very good condition. There is a small amount of beige color loss on the top side of the ceramic portion of the base - it can be touched up or just left alone - we chose to leave it in the condition in which it was acquired as it didn't bother us. Aside from that, the base is free from having any other issues - no cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The wood components are in very nice shape with no problems to report. The electrical wiring looks to be original, and it is in good condition - no frays, splits, exposed and/or brittle wires. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having a licensed professional inspect prior to long-term use, just to be safe. Being sold "as-is", and "as-described" - if you have questions, we do encourage you to ask them before purchasing as all sales are final. Please bid with confidence.
