Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare vintage modernist cat with jewel glaze sculpture / figurine done by Alvino Bagni (Italy). Circa '60s. Materials: Ceramic. Colors: Multi-color. The body of the cat is highly textured throughout. A great piece of pottery to add to your collection!
Measurements: Approx. 10.5" tall (measured to the top of the tail) x 16.5" long (measured from the tail to the head).
Condition: Good vintage condition. It does appear to have one careful repair that was done to one of the back legs - one has to really be looking for it as it blends away with the crazing (see photos). The sculpture shows surface crazing from age throughout (again, see photos). Aside from that, it's really nice and displays well. Being sold "as-is" - if you have questions, we do encourage you to ask them before purchasing as all sales are final. Please bid with confidence.
