Vintage Southwest Style Aztec Bird Clay Tile Wall Hanging Modern Art Signed

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a cool vintage clay / ceramic bird wall hanging. Consists of various pieces of clay that make up the entire bird. The pieces are adhered to a red jute backcloth, and there are two wooden bars (one at the top and the other at the bottom) which allow it to hang on a wall. It has an Aztec or Southwest feel to it. There is what appears to be a signature in white son the lower wooden bar in the right-hand corner (see photos).

Measurements: The item measures approx. 16.5" tall. (from the top of the top wooden bar to the bottom of the lower wooden bar) x 10.25" wide. The red jute material that the clay pieces are attached to measures approx. 11.25" tall x 9" wide. The clay bird measures approx. 10" tall x 7.25" wide.

Condition: Good vintage condition. There is one hairline crack on one of the clay pieces on the bird's head (see photo) - it isn't overly noticeable, but it is there and is being mentioned for accuracy. Aside from that, just some general light wear that is consistent with age and handling - there are no other chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. We have not attempted to clean it as we felt it displays nicely as it is, but a little light cleaning could never hurt.
