Vintage 1950s Blonde Ceruse Wood Sculptural Abstract Biomorphic Figural Lamp MCM Mid Century Modern Lighting

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an amazing figural / biomorphic / abstract carved wood table lamp. Circa '50s. The wood is blonde, and the surface finish is cerused, thus allowing the wood grains to show nicely throughout. The lamp has a standard rotary knob switch for functionality. No shade present. We are uncertain as to who designed / manufactured the lamp... there does not appear to be any labels or signatures. It does, however, remind us of some of the lamps that were produced by Heifetz. It'll make a great addition to any modern interior setting!

Measurements: The lamp stands approx. 30.5" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the harp x 7.5" wide x 5" deep. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 20.25" high. The wood base alone measures 18" tall.

Condition: The lamp is in very good condition with no major problems to report. There are a few small spots where there is light wear to the surface finish (see photos) - nothing drastic whatsoever, and doesn't particularly interfere with the display. Aside from that, there are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The electrical wiring looks to be original, and it is in good shape - no frays, splits, exposed, hard / brittle wires. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having the lamps inspected by a licensed professional prior to long-term use.
