Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an early version of the famous "Birds In Flight" metal wall hanging sculpture done by Curtis Jeré. Circa '60s. Materials: Metal, Steel. The birds are all joined together at varying depths to form an abstract flock in flight. This piece is signed and dated on the tip of one of the end bird's wings: © C. Jeré, 1968 (see photos). It'll make a nice addition to any modern interior space.
Measurements: Approx. 56" wide x 20" tall x 9" deep (varying depth with 9" being the max).
Condition: Good condition. Needs a little love in the cosmetic department. Structurally the wall hanging is solid with no issues to report - there are no breaks, bends, loose parts, repairs, etc. The sculpture does have scattered surface rust throughout (see photos). It can most likely be cleaned up, but we haven't messed around with it. Alternatively, it could be painted. It is being sold in "as-is", "as-described" condition. If you have questions, we encourage you to ask them prior to purchase, and we will respond back to you in a timely manner.
We appreciate your interest - Thanks for looking!
