Vintage Bronze Beggar Figure Sculpture Mid Century Modern Metal Art Giacometti

$1,200.00

Shipping to United States: $40.00

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an amazing vintage bronze sculpture. Circa '60s. Theme: Person begging with a distended stomach and one arm (it's not broken or missing - this is how it was created to be). The bronze figure is mounted atop a stone cube base. We are uncertain as to the maker - it reminds us of works done by Giacometti - no signatures detected. For its size, the sculpture is solid - it weighs approx. 10.4 lbs.

Measurements: Together with the cube base, the sculpture measures approx. 15" tall x 4" wide x 4" deep.

Condition: The figure is in very good shape. It shows a nice patina throughout (see photos). As mentioned above, there are no breaks, repairs, etc. The figure was created and meant to have only one extended arm. The stone base has some wear and small chips, mainly to the corners and edges (see photos). They don't detract or affect the stability of the sculpture. It displays well, and is ready for a new home! Being sold "as-is", "as-described". Please review all of the accompanying photos as together with the description, they constitute the item's condition.

Thanks for looking!
