Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an awesome vintage space age wall hanging sconce / light / lamp. Circa '60s. Materials: smokey gray acrylic, chrome. The fixture takes six (6) small bulbs that go around the central perimeter of chrome orb that rests inside the acrylic dome. The acrylic dome is constructed in two pieces - the upper piece is larger and echos the dimensions of the curved chrome support bar, while the lower piece is smaller and echos the size of the central chrome core where the bulbs are attached. The fixture is in working order - it just needs to be hardwired into place. We are uncertain as to the maker - no tags or labels remain. It'll make a splash in any space age or mid century modern setting!
PLEASE NOTE: We have six (6) of these fixtures, and the price is per fixture. Please indicate your quantity at check-out - thanks!
Measurements: The fixture is approx. 16" tall x 19" deep x 14" round. The wall plate measures approx. 8.5" in diameter.
Condition: The fixture is in very good condition. The acrylic is free from chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. There is some light superficial scratching in spots, but nothing that we'd consider objectionable - we're solely mentioning for accuracy. The chrome is in nice shape as well with just gentle wear from age and use - no rust, oxidation, breaks, bends, etc. The fixture is in working order - as mentioned above, it just needs to be hardwired into place. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the wiring prior to long-term use. This fixture is being sold "as-is" - if you have questions, we do encourage you to ask them before purchasing, and we will respond back to you in a timely manner. All sales are final. Please bid with confidence.
