Vintage 1950s Gold Black Metal Atomic Floor Lamp Mid Century Modern Lighting

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an amazing vintage atomic era floor lamp. Circa '50s. Materials: Metal. Colors: Black, Gold. Uncertain of the maker. The lamp lacks a white milk glass diffuser shade that rests inside the metal socket cup at the top - one can easily be found. Also, it will be up to the buyer to provide their own shade which rests atop the milk glass diffuser shade. It's a great lamp that's ready for a new home!

Measurements: The lamp stands approx. 50.25" tall. The maximum with is approx. 7" (the black horizontal cross bar that is between the two gold atomic spheres at the top). The black base plate at the very bottom of the lamp measures approx. 9.5" wide x 9.5" deep x 1.5" tall.

Condition: Overall the lamp is in very good condition. There is some minor color loss on the gold spheres at the bottom of the lamp. They can easily be touched up, or turned to face the back. Alternately, they can be touched up with a little gold paint. It's nominal, but we're mentioning it for accuracy. There are no dents, dings, repairs, rust, etc. The wiring appears to be good - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having a licensed professional inspect the wiring before long-term use.
