ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage carved walnut wood lamp. Circa '70s. The lamp base consists of a round orb at the bottom, and a long slender wooden neck (see photos) The lamp has an on/off rotary knob switch that is located at the socket. There are no labels / tags present; however, research indicates it was possibly manufactured by Lighthouse Lamp and Shade Co. No shade present - that'll be left up to the purchaser to provide on their own. This lamp will make a great addition to any mid century setting!
MEASUREMENTS: From the bottom of the base to the top of the finial, the lamp stands approx. 40" tall. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 31.5" tall. The wood body of the lamp, including the neck, is approx. 29" tall x 10" in width x 10" deep.
PLEASE NOTE: The seltzer can in the photos is strictly meant for reference, and is not included with the purchase of the lamp.
CONDITION: The lamp is in very good condition for its age - no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. to the base. There are a few small, insignificant nicks along the edge at the top of the wooden neck just below the socket (see photos) - nothing major, just being mentioned for accuracy. The electrical wiring appears to be original, and is in great shape - no frays, splits, exposed and/or brittle areas. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly urge to have the wiring inspected by a licensed professional prior to long-term use. Being sold "as-is" - if you have questions, we do encourage you to ask them before purchasing as all sales are final. Please bid with confidence.
