Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage ceramic pottery lamp manufactured by Wilmar. Circa '60s. The lamp body is cylindrical in design, and it rests atop a hexagonal metal base. The surface of the lamp body has a floral pattern done in raised paint, and is mosaic-like in style (see photos). The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch that is located at the socket. The socket still retains a good portion of its original Wilmar sticker label (again, see photos). The lamp does not come with a shade - that'll be left up to the purchaser to provide on their own. It'll make a great addition to any mid century interior setting.
Measurements: From the bottom of the base to the top of the finial, the lamp stands approx. 37.25" tall. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 28.75" tall. The cylindrical body of the lamp is approx. 20" tall x 5.5" in diameter. The hexagonal metal base measures approx. 7.25". The lamp has a nice solid weight to it as well.
Condition: The lamp is in very good condition for its age - no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. There is a minimal amount of crazing that is consistent with age. The electrical wiring appears to be original, and is in great shape - no frays, splits, exposed and/or brittle areas. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly urge to have the wiring inspected by a licensed professional prior to long-term use. Being sold "as-is" - if you have questions, we do encourage you to ask them before purchasing as all sales are final. Please bid with confidence.
