Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a great set of vintage ceramic and metal atomic era table lamps. Circa '50s. The ceramic portions of the bases are pink with white speckles, and there are linear gold accents that wrap around the ceramic portions. There are also curly brass metal accents between the two ceramic portions on each base, as well as at the very bottom (see photos). One lamp has a toggle switch at the socket, while the other has a rotary knob switch. The original round loop finials are present as well. No shades present - those will be left up to the purchaser to provide on their own. We are uncertain as to the maker as no labels / tags are present on either lamp. They'll make a great addition to any mid century or atomic-themed setting! Ready for use!
Measurements: The lamps each stand approx. 33.25" tall (measured from the bottom of the round brass metal base to the top of the circular finials). The distance from the bottom of the bases to the light sockets is approx. 23.5" tall. The ceramic portions of the lamps each measure approx. 17" tall x 6" wide x 6" in depth. The round brass metal bases at the very bottom each measure approx. 7" in diameter.
Condition: Both lamps are in great shape. The ceramic pottery portions of the bases are free from chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, scratches, etc. The color on both lamps is very nice. There is some scattered spots / tarnishing on the round brass bases at the very bottom. We have not done anything in an attempt to clean or polish the lamps - they are being presented for sale in the condition in which they were acquired. Each of the lamp bases has a small round hole on the back side where the electrical cord can came out. As the lamps are now, the cords actually emerge from the back sides of the round brass bases (see photos). The electrical wiring looks to be original to both lamps, and it is in very good shape - no frays, splits, exposed / brittle areas. The lamps are in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly suggest having a licensed professional inspect the lamps prior to long-term use. Being sold "as-is" - if you have questions, we do encourage you to ask them before purchasing as all sales are final. Please bid with confidence.
