Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage adjustable desk lamp. Circa '60s. Materials: Plastic, Metal. The cone-shaped shade is attached to an extension arm which gives the lamp the possibility of many different orientations. There is a sticker lamp on the bottom which reads: Japan, Model 393. We are uncertain as to the actual manufacturer - reminds us of Hi-Lite lamps. The lamp has an on/off toggle switch on the front of the brown plastic base (see photos). NOTE: While we don't know how much life it has left, the lamp does come with it's original bulb.
Measurements: With the extension arm in its full upright position, the lamp stands approx. 17.5" tall. The brass metal shade measures approx. 3" tall x 2.25" in diameter (measured across the opening). The brown plastic wedge-shaped base at the bottom measures approx. 4" deep x 2.75" wide x 2.25" tall (all measured from the bottom of the base).
Condition: Good vintage condition - no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs. Shows light wear that is consistent with age and use. The electrical wiring is in great shape, having no issues to report. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting and electronics, we always recommend having fixtures examined by a licensed professional prior to long-term use. Being sold "as-is", and "as-described" - if you have questions, please ask them prior to purchase and we will be more than happy to respond back to you in a timely manner.
