Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a sleek vintage acrylic and metal shade desk or table lamp. Circa '60s. The lamp has it's original on/off pull chain. While we cannot be 100% certain, we've seen the lamp attributed to Robert Sonneman. The shade is metal and white in color. It has the ability to rotate at its connection point, and it can also move slightly up and down. It's a great lamp - we've used it for many years and it always gets people commenting on it. It'll make a nice addition to any modern interior or office setting.
Measurements: The acrylic base measures approx. 19.5" tall x 5.75" wide x 8.75" deep. The round white metal shade measures approx. 3.5" tall x 7.5" in diameter.
Condition: Good vintage condition. The acrylic shows some minor superficial scratch marks here and there - nothing that is overly objectionable, in our opinion. The front right bottom edge of teh acrylic shows what appears to be two crack marks on the inside of the acrylic. They do not translate to the exterior surface, which is smooth when you run your fingers across it. It is 100% stable and doesn't affect the structural integrity of the lamp - we mentioning it for accuracy (see photos). The white shade shows some color loss and a little discoloration on the back side of the shade (see photos). It can easily be touched up or just left alone as we did. The electrical wiring is in good shape, and the fixture is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having it inspected by a licensed professional prior to long-term use. Being sold "as-is", and "as-described" - if you have questions, please ask them prior to purchase and we will be more than happy to respond back to you in a timely manner.
