Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare whimsical wire cat wall hanging. Circa '50s. Appears to possibly be for keys or small utensils. Color: Black. It is very reminiscent of Frederic Weinberg wire stuff, right down to the squiggly wiggly waggly paws (see photos). We are uncertain as to who made it. Cute, nonetheless, and would fit in nicely with other Weinberg and mcm pieces.
Measurements: Approx. 13.5" wide x 7" tall x 2.75" deep.
Condition: It is missing one of the forward projecting wire spokes on the front left side (see photo). It would be an easy task to spot weld a replacement piece in its place - we just decided to leave it as it was acquired. Aside from that, there's typical wear in the form of scattered paint loss from age. There are no other issues - just general light wear that is consistent with it being vintage.
