Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage triple pendant hanging light fixture manufactured by Lightcraft of California in 1963. The fixture consists of three hanging shades that are set at staggering heights. Each of the three shades has two components: an outer brass component, and an inner plastic component. The brass has evenly spaced cut -out sections which reveal two different color combinations that are set on a film that is attached to the inner plastic portion of the shade. If you turn the brass section of the shades, you are able to alternate between green and blue or red and yellow, and the light shines through projecting the colors that are situated in the cut-out sections - it's pretty darn cool! The top portion of the plastic components are marked Lightcraft, as well as the plastic films that contain the color combinations (see photo). The three shades are suspend by chain from a large brass ceiling canopy disc (see photos). It's a great hanging light fixture that is suitable for any modern interior setting!
Measurements: The entire fixture measures approx. 49" long (from the top of the wiring to the bottom of the lowest shade). The brass sections of the shades are approx. 7" tall x 6" in diameter. The inner plastic cylinder portions of the shades measure approx. 11" tall x 4" in diameter.
Condition: The fixture is in good, all-original condition. The brass components of the shades show minor blemishes (ie. light superficial scratch marks here and there) from age, use and handling. They aren't bad at all, and when hanging, you don't see them. The plastic cylindrical portions of the shades, as well as the colored film that is attached to them, are all in nice shape as well with no major problems to report - no chips, cracks, breaks, etc. Overall, the fixture could use a gentle cleaning, but it is fine as it is - displays very well. The electrical wiring is in good condition - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. The fixture is in fully-functioning, working condition - just needs to be hardwired into place. We always recommend having a licensed professional inspect the fixture prior to longterm use, just to be safe. Being sold "as-is, as-described". If you have any questions, we encourage them and will respond back to you in a timely manner.
