Abstract Shapes Vintage Mixed Media Painting 1960s Mid Century Modern Art MCM

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a cool vintage mixed media / collage painting done on thick canvas board by St. Louis artist, Richard Hof. He was a student under renowned artist, Brother Mel (Meyer). Circa '60s. Theme: Abstract Shapes. Materials: Paint, Colored Tissue Paper. Unframed. Unsigned. We are uncertain as to the intended orientation of the piece, hence the joy of abstract art. It is suitable for any modern interior designed setting.

Measurements: Depending on the orientation, 37" tall x 23.75" wide.

Condition: Decent vintage condition, but not perfect. There is corner and edge wear. If framed, most, if not all, can be concealed. The artist board also has a slight warp to it possibly from the way it had been previously stored. It doesn't particularly detract, especially when being viewed on a wall, but it is being mentioned for accuracy (please see photos). There are scattered discoloration marks / blemishes / wear to the colored paper on the front side - we have not done anything in an attempt to clean the item or touch it up, so some of it may or may not be something that comes out (again, see photos). The back side of the canvas board shows spotting and discoloration as well.
