Vintage 60s Southwest Woman Landscape Pastel Painting Modern MCM Art Mid Century

Item: For your consideration we are presenting a vintage pastel painting done on paper. Circa '60s. It is Southwestern in style, and features a woman in the foreground with what appears to be a staircase leading upward in the background. It is framed behind glass in a nice wooden frame. While we cannot decipher the signature, it appears to be signed in the lower left-hand corner of the artwork (see photos). All-in-all, a nice piece of art that is ready to be enjoyed!

Measurements: Including the wooden frame, the artwork measures approx. 28" tall x 22" wide.

Condition. Good vintage condition. The artwork is free from rips, tears, repairs, etc. There is one area towards the bottom left side of the paper by the signature where there is discoloration in the paper - it looks as though it may be an old moisture mark that lightened the color of the paper, but we're not 100% certain (see photos). The wooden frame is in nice shape with only minimal traces of wear that are consistent with age and handling. It needs a new wire mechanism affixed to the back to display as currently there isn't one in place. Displays nicely, and is ready to be enjoyed in a new home.
