Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a cool vintage clover-shaped space age table lamp. Circa '60s / '70s. Materials: Chrome, Wood. The lamp consists of four (4) chrome cylindrical tubes. When looked at the lamp from above, it gives off a clover shape in appearance. Each cylinder has its own smoked acrylic window which allows for light to shine out from the three small decorative bulbs that are enclosed inside. One of the cylinders is on hinges, which allows for access to the interior when changing out the bulbs. The lamp has three-way functionality: either the main socket can light up, or the three small decorative bulbs on the inside, or all of the lights together (see photos). The lamp still retains an original UL sticker by the socket, but we are uncertain as to the maker. We have seen this lamps attributed to different manufacturers over the years. There is no shade present with this lamp - that'll be left up to the purchaser to provide on their own. It'll make a great addition to any modern interior setting.
Measurements: The lamp stands approx. 28.5" tall x 8" wide x 8" deep.
Condition: The lamp is for the most part in very good condition. It does have some cosmetic issues which we'll mention here. First off, the smoked acrylic windows have heat cracks running through them (see photos) - they are completely stable - just cracks lines running within the material. They are held in place on the interior by small metal clamps, so they should be relatively easy to remove them and have new ones fabricated. They didn't bother us, so we just left them alone. Next, both the wood and the chrome metal can benefit from a gentle cleaning / polishing, but they display nicely as they are currently. The wiring is in good shape with no issues to report - looks to be original - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having a licensed professional inspect the fixure prior to long-term use, just to err on the side of caution. Being sold "as-is", and "as-described" If you have questions, we courage them prior to purchase, please - thank you!
We appreciate your interest - thanks for looking!
