Vintage 70s Nautical Boats Oil Painting Vanguard Modern Art Wall Hanging Vivian

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a nice vintage nautical boats in the sunset oil painting done on canvas board by artist, Vivian, for Vanguard Studios. Circa '70s. The boats are painted solid, while the sails are done in just an outline which gives the painting a partially abstract feel. The painting is set within its original vintage wooden frame. There is a Vanguard stamp in ink on the back side of the canvas with the date 1970 (see photos). It'll make a nice addition to any modern interior setting.

Measurements: Including the wooden frame, approx. 38.25" tall x 23.5" wide. The artwork alone, excluding the frame and thin boarder edge cloth matting, measures approx. 29.5" tall x 14.5" wide.

Condition: The artwork is in very good vintage condition - no rips, holes, tears, repairs, bend, breaks, stains, etc. The surrounding cloth matting shows age-related wear, and faint discoloration marks (see photos) - we did not attempt to clean it. The wooden frame is structurally solid and displays well - shows light traces of wear that are consistent with age and handling. There is a jagged metal hanging tab on the reverse side pf the frame for hanging / display purposes. Being sold "as-is", so if you have questions, please don't hesitate to ask them prior to bidding.
