Vintage Abstract Sunset Mixed Media Painting Modern Art MCM Mid Century Green

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a wonderful vintage mixed media painting done on a wood board. Circa '60s / '70s. Colors: Orange, Green. Theme: Abstract Sunset. The painting is done as an oil on board, and there are various pieces of material hammered into place with nails on the wood board. They look like they've been shellacked or something to give them a hardened appearance (see photos). While the artwork does not appear to have a signature on the front, there is a small letter "A" with a circle around it done in pencil on the back (see photo) - not sure if that's intended to be the artist's signature / symbol. It's a great piece that'll look fantastic in any modern interior setting.

Measurements: Approx. 48" wide x 24" tall.

Condition: The artwork is in very good vintage condition - there are a few small spots where there is a light color rub (see photos), and a very tiny spot or two of different colors that look like they made their way onto the artwork when it was created - they're very small - we didn't attempt to try to remove them. The wood framework has a small shallow chip along the top at the left-corner (see photos) - certainly doesn't detract or affect the stability - it's solely being mentioned for accuracy. Aside from that, there's a wire hanging mechanism stretched across the back side for hanging. It's ready to be enjoyed in a new home.
