Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a nice carved vintage wood naked / nude female sculpture. Circa '60s. Style: Abstract / Cubist. We aren't 100% certain on the type of wood that was used, but it does have a solid weight to it. This piece is illegibly signed in pencil on the underside of the base at the bottom (again, see photo).
Measurements: Including the thin edge metal frame, approx. 17.25" tall x 5" wide x 2.75" deep.
Condition: Good vintage condition - there are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The wood does show some mild wear (ie. small spots of color loss, minor scrapes), but nothing that really interferes with the display of the sculpture (please examine the accompanying photos). There is some stain color loss along the bottom edges of the base - some fresh stain should make it uniform. In fact, most of the imperfection, as minor as they are, can be concealed with some stain. We just choose to leave the item in the condition in which it was acquired. It displays nicely, and is ready to be enjoyed in a new home.
