Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage art pottery vase. Circa '60s. Color: Teal / Turquoise. The base has an abstract appearance, with two fin-like projections extending outward on the sides at staggering heights (see photos). While we cannot decipher it, it appears to be signed with an inscribed symbol / signature on the underside of the base (see photos).
Measurements: Approx. 15" tall x 11" wide. The opening at the top is approx. 5" wide x 4" deep. It is very solid and sturdy - weighing in at an impressive 8.12 lbs.
Condition: Very good condition. There appears to be what looks like a small nick on the tip of one of the fin-like side projections (see photos). We don't believe this is damage or a chip. The color still runs through this area fine (see photos). Unlike an actual chip that could be a bit rough to the touch, this is somewhat smooth which leads us to believe it occurred when the piece was made. Aside from that, there are a few surface marks here and there, but nothing that we'd deem objectionable (again, see photos). We have not done anything in an attempt to clean the item - it is being presented for sale in the exact condition in which it was acquired.
