$450.00
ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage three-arm triennial table lamp designed by Gerald Thurston for Lightolier. Circa '50s / '60s. Materials: Metal, Brass. Color: Black, Gold. The lamp features three rounded metal cone-shaped shades that are set at slightly staggered heights. Each has it's own individual on/off rotary knob switch that is located at the top of the shades (see photos). The shades are all able to pivot and rotate at their attachment points. No tags / labels present. It'll make a great addition to any mid century modern or atomic-themed setting.
MEASUREMENTS: With the shades all directed in the downward position, the lamp stands approx. 26" tall x 20" wide x 20" deep. Each of the three shades measures 7.5 tall x 7.5" in diameter (measured across the openings). The three vertical upright bars that the shades are attached to measure 25.5", 20" and 15" in height, respectively. The round metal base at the bottom of the lamp measures approx. 7" in diameter.
CONDITION: Overall, the lamp is in good condition. There are some cosmetic things which we'll mention. First off, there are some light superficial scratch marks / color loss to the shades and base - nothing major whatsoever, but being mentioned for accuracy (examine photos). One of the shades has a small ding to the rim opening (see photo) - it can most likely be finessed back into shape, but we just decided to leave it as it was acquired. The brass shows signs of tarnishing in areas - we have not attempted to clean or polish it in any manner. While the lamp is in fully-functioning, working order (all three sockets work), the lowest rotary knob switch tends to stick a little, so we'd recommend having it looked at by a professional. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the wiring prior to long-term use. The lamp is being sold "as-is" - if you have questions, we do encourage you to ask them before purchasing, and we will respond back to you in a timely manner. All sales are final. Please bid with confidence.
