Vintage 60s Penthouse Art Creations Clock Wall Hanging Tile Wood MCM Mid Century Modern

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a fabulous vintage wall hanging clock manufacturer by Penthouse Art Creations. Circa '60s. Materials: Wood, Tile, Gold Metal Balls, Plastic Hour Markers. The clock is unsigned; however, the round brass metal housing on the back reads: Made In Germany.

MEASUREMENTS: The clock measures approx. 46.5" wide x 19" tall. The height gradually tapers down to 5" tall on each of the sides. The round face of the clock is approx. 9.75" in diameter.

CONDITION: The clock is in very good cosmetic condition. There are no breaks, repairs, etc. There are a few very small nicks to the wood on the back edge of the clock face - they aren't visible from the front (see photo). The clock is in working order; however, the key is missing, so a new one will have to be purchased. Most reputable clock repair shops should have one for purchase. There is also no hanging apparatus on the back. There are a few areas surround the round metal housing on the back where there are a few small nail holes; presumably the clock had some small mounting brackets in this area. An easy fix that any hardware store can supply. Displays nicely and is ready to be enjoyed in a new home.
