ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a wonderful vintage table lamp with its original accompanying cloth shade. Circa '60s. The base is textured, and it has raised geometric shapes that appear on the surface. Similar shapes are echoed on the cloth shade. The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch at the socket. We are uncertain as to the maker - there are no other labels or signatures present. It'll make a great addition to any mid century modern setting!
MEASUREMENTS: With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. 39" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the shade). The shade measures approx. 16" in diameter x 18" tall.. The base measures approx. 25" tall (measured from the resting surface to the light socket) x 6.75" wide (at its widest point) x 6.75" deep (at its deepest point). The bottom of the base measures approx. 6" in diameter.
CONDITION: Very good, all original condition. The ceramic portion of the base is free from chips, cracks, breaks, scratches, repairs, etc. It could benefit from a gentle cleaning, but does display well just as it is. The cloth shade is free from rips, holes, tears, burn marks, repairs, etc. There are a few very faint discoloration areas on the shade - we have not attempted to clean it as they are barely noticeable. The electrical wiring looks to be original, and it is in good condition - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the wiring prior to long-term use. The lamps are being sold "as-is" - if you have questions, we do encourage you to ask them before purchasing, and we will respond back to you in a timely manner. All sales are final. Please bid with confidence.
PLEASE NOTE: The lamp is LARGE and FRAGILE. As such, it will ship in two separate parcels for safety - one will contain the base, while the other will contain the shade. Both parcels will be insured for the full final sale value of the item.
