ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage space age table lamp designed by Robert Sonneman. Circa '60s. Contains eight (8) cascading chrome orbs set at varying heights. The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch at the center of the round chrome base, and it allows for three-way functionality - the first two settings allow for every other bulb to be lit, and the third set allows for all eight to illuminate at the same time. The underside of the base has a cork padding to prevent surface scratching. It's a fantastic lamp that'll look great in any setting! The bulbs used in the photos are brand new, and they will be included with the purchase.
MEASUREMENTS: The lamp stands approx. 33.5" tall x 12" wide x 12" deep. Each of the eight chrome orbs measures approx. 3.5" round. The round base at the bottom of the lamp is approx. 9.5" in diameter.
CONDITION: The lamp is in excellent condition with only minimal traces of wear from age and handling. The chrome is nice and shiny - there are no dents, dings, repairs, rust, oxidation, etc. The cork padding on the bottom has a few small edge pieces missing, but nothing that is distracting or that takes away from the presence of the fixture. The electrical wiring looks to be original, and it is in good condition - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the wiring prior to long-term use. The lamps are being sold "as-is" - if you have questions, we do encourage you to ask them before purchasing, and we will respond back to you in a timely manner. All sales are final. Please bid with confidence.
