Rare Vintage 1960s HANS-AGNE JAKOBSSON Brass Lamps Sweden Mid Century Modern mcm

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a RARE pair of elegant brass and opaline glass table lamps by HANS-AGNE JAKOBSSON (Sweden). Circa '60s. The bases of the lamps are brass, and each has a round opaline glass globe shade (see photos). The shades attach to the bases by a white metal bar (again, see photos), and they rest inside of a shallow brass cup. The lamps operate via an inline on/off push button switch. The lamps are marked on the bottom of the round brass base: Hans-Agne Jakobsson AB, B-93. They'll make a great addition to any modern interior setting.

MEASUREMENTS: Each lamp stands approx. 17" tall. The round glass shades each measure approx. 6" in diameter. The round brass base at the bottom of the lamp measures approx. 4.75" in diameter.

CONDITION: Both lamps are in great, all-original vintage condition. The glass shades have some faint marks around the opening which will come out with a gentle cleansing. The shades are free from chips, cracks, breaks, scratches, repairs, etc. The bases are in great shape as well - no rust, oxidation, dents, dings, repairs, etc. They've been very well taken care of over the years. The electrical wiring appears to be original, and is in great condition - there are no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. As with all vintage lighting, we always highly recommend having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use.
