ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage atomic era fiberglass planter with its original accompanying tripod iron stand. Circa '50s. Color: Black. There does not appear to be a signature inside the fiberglass shell. It looks like it could be Kimball, but we're not 100% certain.
MEASUREMENTS: With the fiberglass shell inserted into the stand, the planter is approx. 27.5" tall x 14" in diameter. The shell itself is approx. 14" wide x 14" deep x 10" tall. The distance between each of the legs is approx. 13".
CONDITION: With the exception of one very small nick / chip along the opening rim of the fiberglass shell, it is in very good condition with only minimal traces of wear that are consistent with age and use. Said chip is barely noticeable and can most likely be filled in, if desired. It's so nominal that we just left it alone. It can always be turned to face the back, and with a plant planted inside the shell, you won't even know it is there. The inside of the fiberglass shell is fairly clean, and there are no drainage holes drilled into the bottom, so it can technically be used indoor or outdoor. The iron stand is together and structurally solid. It is being sold "as-is" - if you have questions, we encourage you to ask them prior to purchase, and we will respond back to you in a timely manner. Thanks for looking!
