Vintage 1960s Abstract Metal Figural Brutalist Sculpture Mid Century MCM Modern Drummer Warrior

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a super cool and quite large vintage abstract figural brutalist sculpture. Circa '60s. The taller figure on the left represents a warrior, complete with shield and battle axe, while the shorter figure on the right represents a drummer (see photos). Each figure is screwed in at the base to a wooden base. We are uncertain as to the maker - there does not appear to be a signature or label present. It does, however, remind us of Wilrongo pieces.

MEASUREMENTS: Including the wooden base, the sculpture measures approx. 32" tall x 18" wide x 9" deep. The warrior figure on the left measures approx. 31" tall x 9" wide, while the shorter drummer figure on the right measures approx. 25" tall x 9" wide. The wooden base measures approx. 18" wide x 9" deep x 1" thick.

CONDITION: Good vintage condition. The rounded bases of each of the figures have surface rust on them. We like them as they are, but they can be removed from the wooden base and blasted to give them a more polished look - that'll be left up to the purchaser to decide on and handle on their own. The wooden base shows surface imperfections and some wear that is consistent with and handling. There are no breaks, bends, repairs, etc. to the figures - the sculpture is being presented for sale exactly how it was acquired.
