ITEM: This one has to be one of our favorite lamp finds in quite a while. For your consideration we are presenting for sale a FANTASTIC vintage ceramic pottery table lamp. Circa '60s. The body of the lamp is ceramic, and it is mounted atop a round wooden base at the bottom. Colors: Oranges, Brown. The shape of the lamp body is very uncommon as can be seen in the photos. The lamp has both an inline switch AND a rotary knob switch located at the socket - both are functioning. We are uncertain as to the maker of the lamp - there are no labels or tags present, but we can assure you - it's a nice one! No shade is present - it'll be left up to the purchaser to provide their own.
MEASUREMENTS: The lamp stands approx. 42.75" tall (measured from the bottom of the round wooden base to the top of the wooden finial. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 30" high. The ceramic portion of the base alone measures approx. 23" tall x 9" wide x 9" deep. The round wooden base at the bottom of the lamp is approx. 7.75" in diameter. The wooden finial at the very top measures approx. 2.5" tall x 1.25" deep x 1.25" wide.
CONDITION: The lamp is in excellent condition - the ceramic is free from chips, cracks, breaks, etc. There is a small spot on the ceramic just below the light socket where there is a skip in the orange color. It is NOT a chip or anything of the sorts (please see photos). The round wood base at the bottom of the lamp is in great shape as well, with no problems or issues to report. The plug tip has some old residual white paint on it, as does the on/off rotary knob switch - two extremely minor details, but we're mentioning them for accuracy. The electrical wiring appears to be original, and is in great condition - there are no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. As with all vintage lighting, we always highly recommend having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use. The lamp is being sold "as-is", and "as described" - if you have questions, we do encourage you to ask them before purchasing as all sales are final. Please bid with confidence.
