Vintage MCM Saarinen Womb Settee Green Mid Century Modern Knoll Herman Miller

ITEM: For sale we are presenting an original vintage Womb Settee designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll / Herman Miller. Greenish colored upholstery. It has two removable green cushions that are attached to the chair by metal clips.

MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 60" wide (arm rest to arm rest); 35.5" high (top of the back rest); 19.5" high (armrests); 23" deep (seat depth); 14" high (seat height)

CONDITION: Not perfect, but decent for its age. The foam is dry in some areas, while hard in others, which is typical for these chairs once they reach a certain age. There is a little sagging in the upholstery by the lower inner portions of the armrests. The cushions are still soft, as is the foam on the underside of the seat cushion in the frame itself. There are no rips, holes tears, stains, repairs, etc. to the fabric - it's in great shape! All of the metal clips are still attached to both the chair and cushions to keep everything in place. Glides are all in place. While the original label is gone from the underside of the chair, you can see exactly where it was placed originally.
