ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage chrome and cork table lamp. Circa '70s. Still retains its original UL label at the socket. Uncertain as to the manufacturer. No shade present - it'll be left up to the purchaser to provide their own.
MEASUREMENTS: The lamp stands approx. 28.5" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial) x 12" wide x 12" deep. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 16.5" high.
CONDITION: Overall, the lamp is in good condition for its age. There are some minor cosmetic flaws, but nothing overly major. First off, there are two small areas where there is wear to the cork - one is on the back side of the lamp, and the other is off to the side towards the top (see photos). Neither are particularly all that bad, and they sort of blend away with the texture of the cork. We're merely mentioning it for accuracy. The chrome shows some light spotted tarnishing. It should clean up nicely - we have not done anything to it in ways of cleaning / polishing - it is being presented for sale as it was acquired. Lastly, while the lamp is in working order, there is a small area on the wiring where it is worn / split. It should be replaced before use. As with all vintage lighting, we always highly recommend having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use. The lamp is being sold "as-is", and "as described" - if you have questions, we do encourage you to ask them before purchasing as all sales are final. Please bid with confidence.
