ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a nice vintage double tier fiberglass lamp shade. Circa '50s. Color: Red. Maker: Unknown.
MEASUREMENTS: The overall height of the shade is 9". The smaller upper tier has a diameter of approx. 12" across the top, and it tapers down to 8" at the bottom. The larger lower tier of the shade measures approx. 14" in diameter.
CONDITION: Very good condition - no rips, holes, tears, punctures, repairs, etc. There is one break in the lacing along the top of the upper tier at the back, just above the seam (see photos). The fiberglass hasn't been compromised, so it can easily be replaced, or just left alone. Despite the broken lace, it is still structurally stable. There are a few small, faint blemish marks on the fiberglass which should come out with a gentle cleaning - they didn't bother us, so we just left them alone. The red color is nice and vibrant throughout - there is no fading that we can see. It display very well, both lit and unlit. The shade is being sold "as-is" - if you have questions, we do encourage you to ask them before purchasing as all sales are final. Please shop with confidence.
