ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a cool vintage atomic era fiberglass shade mall mount light fixture. Circa '50s. The fixture has an adjustable gooseneck stalk which allows it to take on a variety of configurations. At the end opposite of the shade is a metal bracket with three holes in it for screwing it into place (see photos). The fixture has a standard on/off rotary knob switch which extends from the socket to the exterior of the fiberglass shade. We are uncertain of the maker - it is not marked anywhere.
MEASUREMENTS: The red fiberglass cone shade measures approx. 7.5" long x 5.25" in diameter (measured across the opening). The flexible metal gooseneck stalk measures approx. 18" in length.
CONDITION: Very good condition - no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The fiberglass is still vibrant in color. The gooseneck stalk holds its position properly. The electrical wiring is in good condition - no frays, splits, exposed wires, etc, and it looks to be original to the lamp. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having the wiring checked prior to long-term use.
