Textured Vintage Abstract Figural Painting Modern Art Wall Hanging Pollack #3

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a fun vintage abstract figural painting on stretched canvas by St. Louis artist, Pollack. The artist applied a lightweight vermiculite compound to the canvas in order to give it some texture and a distressed appearance, rather than just having it be flat and two dimensional (see photos). Colors: Multi-color. This piece does not appear to be signed - some of the pieces that we acquired from said artist were signed, while others were not. Unframed.

MEASUREMENTS: Approx 25" tall x 30" wide.

CONDITION: Decent condition, but does have some cosmetic issues. There are a series of small punctures in the canvas - not sure if it was intentional by the artist as the painting takes on a rather distressed presence with all of the texture throughout. The punctures aren't too readily visible, but they are there (see photos). The back side of the painting has a paper lining which is torn. If one wanted to remove the paper lining, and patch the small punctures from the reverse side of the canvas, it can be done. Other than that, there's just some general light wear that can be expected from age and handling. The artwork is being sold "as-is" and "as-described".
