ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a fun distressed vintage abstract figural painting on stretched canvas by St. Louis artist, Pollack. Colors: Multi-color. The artist applied both vermiculite and joint cement to the canvas to give it texture. There's a lot going on in this piece! It does not appear to be signed on the front, but the artist's name appears on the back side of the canvas - some of the pieces that we acquired were signed, while others were not. Unframed.
MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 30" tall x 40" wide.
CONDITION: Decent vintage condition - the canvas is free from rips, holes, tears, repairs, etc. There is a small area towards the upper right-hand corner where it looks like the vermiculite compound that was applied to the canvas to give it texture may have chipped off (see photos). The artwork has an overall distressed appearance, so we're not even sure if happened from handling, or if it was perhaps intentional. Either way, it isn't too bad, and is solely being mentioned for accuracy. The artwork is being sold "as-is" and "as-described". We will gladly "reserve" or "hold" an item, but it will require a 25% non-refundable down payment. Balance due will be spread out over installment payments, one being due two weeks after the initial down-payment, and the final payment (which will include the listed shipping expenses) will be due two weeks after that.
